About Aliza Grosh, LCSW
Aliza Grosh is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the Founder & CEO of ORIAH Care, an LCSW Professional Corporation providing clinical care coordination, counseling, and consulting services to older adults and their families across the San Ramon Valley and surrounding areas. With more than 25 years of experience in medical, behavioral health, legal, and educational systems, Aliza offers a multidimensional approach to the challenges that often accompany aging, illness, and complex family dynamics. Her work integrates clinical assessment, therapeutic support, systems navigation, and long-term care planning — tailored to meet the unique needs of each client and family.
ORIAH Care reflects Aliza’s vision for a more responsive, integrated model of support-one that blends clinical insight with practical problem-solving. Rather than operating in silos, she partners with families, providers, and professionals to ensure clients receive coordinated, thoughtful care. Her practice reflects a deep commitment to ethical practice, clear communication, and reducing the burden families often carry when facing medical or emotional uncertainty.
Aliza holds a BA in Psychology and Women’s Studies from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Social Work from Columbia University. She is licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). Her career has included service with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, public school districts, and family court systems, all of which inform her deeply practical and human-centered approach to care.
Outside of her practice, Aliza is a mother of two daughters, a longtime Danville resident, and a competitive tennis player. She and her husband, Dan, have been married for over 20 years and share a love of world travel, community, and family life.
